This includes any after school and holiday clubs. \r\n\r\nIn England Ofsted offers a voluntary registration to any company that works with children and agrees to follow its childcare guidelines.","additional_details":"Holiday club costs are more expensive in Wales and as registration with CIW(Care Inspectorate Wales) is mandatory to receive payments via TFC. \r\n\r\nA typical week (5 days) of holiday club in Wales can range from £175 to £325. If parents could pay for these via TFC it could save £35-£65 a week.\r\n\r\nParents can not always take 6 weeks off, a typical employer gives 4 weeks holiday pay a year which does not cover the 13 weeks of school holidays per year, even with 2 parents splitting leave, so holiday clubs become a necessity in most working parents schedules.\r\n\r\nCurrently in England Ofsted offers a voluntary registration to any company that works with children and agrees to follow its childcare guidelines. Whereas in Wales CIW only have one registration option for out-of-school care providers, which is based around provision in permanent settings that provide a play-based service ( they require staff to have a playwork qualification only, with no flexibility for other childcare qualifications).","state":"open","signature_count":15,"threshold_for_referral":250,"threshold_for_debate":10000,"created_at":"2026-06-10T13:18:32.185Z","updated_at":"2026-06-17T16:28:20.000Z","rejected_at":null,"opened_at":"2026-06-17T10:48:56.383Z","closed_at":"2026-12-17T23:59:59.999Z","completed_at":null,"moderation_threshold_reached_at":"2026-06-10T13:27:00.000Z","referral_threshold_reached_at":null,"referred_at":null,"debate_threshold_reached_at":null,"scheduled_debate_date":null,"debate_outcome_at":null,"archived_at":null,"submitted_on_paper":false,"submitted_on":null,"creator_name":"Katherine Jones","rejection":null,"debate":null,"topics":[{"code":"children-and-young-people","name":"Children and Young People"},{"code":"health","name":"Health and Care Services"}],"signatures_by_country":[{"name":"England","code":"GB-ENG","signature_count":2},{"name":"Wales","code":"GB-WLS","signature_count":13}],"signatures_by_constituency":[{"id":"W09000051","name":"Brycheiniog Tawe Nedd","signature_count":2},{"id":"W09000060","name":"Pen-y-bont Bro Morgannwg","signature_count":11}],"signatures_by_region":[]}}}
