WE SHOULD BE LOOKING AT INCREASED PROVISION NOT A REDUCTION.","additional_details":"Currently Powys as a county has no general hospital provision.\r\nAll emergency and major health care issues are undertaken out of county.\r\nWith a current bed count per capita at around 1.2 per 1,000 residents. this is half of the UK average of 2.4. This bed provision is likely to reduce further if the two unit heath care proposal comes into effect.
