Rejected petition All Food Establishments by Law should have a Variety of Gluten Free Products
Whilst vegetarianism and veganism may be a choice for many people because of an associated philosophy that rejects the commodity status of animals. Those who have gluten-related disorders e.g. coeliac disease, non-coeliac gluten sensitivity, gluten ataxia, dermatitis herpetiformis and wheat allergy, they do not have a choice. Whilst so many food establishments cater for the needs of vegetarians and vegans, those who are gluten free seem to go unnoticed. This makes going out for a meal or merely finding a snack on the way to work very hard, as there is either no gluten-free menu or a lack of products.
