Rejected petition Cycle and walking path route from Glan Conwy to Conwy Bridge .
Residents of Glan Conwy are trapped by lack of public transport, unsafe walking route along A470 to the A55 junction.
Some residents have no transport, and car journeys retricted by heavy traffic/congestion.
A bridge from Glan Conwy to what is now the RSPB nature reserve did exist but collapsed over 20 years ago and was never replaced. Residents have endeavoured to get this replaced but to no avail.
More details
This proposed cycle/ walking route will provide residents with a safe route which will benefit their health and well being by offering an alternative to having to use cars which will also link to the existing cycle and walking route at Conwy Bridge.
