We call on the National Assembly for Wales to urge the Welsh Government to purchase the Medieval manuscript The Laws of Hywel Dda , that is being auctioned off at Sotheby’s on 10 July . We feel the Welsh Government should step in an purchase this for the people of Wales and either place it in a museum in Wales or in the lobby of the Senedd . Rather than it possibly being bought by a private collector and never seen again by the public
