Rejected petition Allow travel to other lockdown areas for fitness purposes.
Fitness is a powerful thing on many levels. It keeps us healthy, promotes wellbeing and keeps us active.
Durning these unprecedented times we need to be kept active, fit and sociable. It also plays a very important part in our mental health and during this time we needs to stay in contact with people for our own wellbeing.
More details
During the current covid climate local lockdowns are putting restrictions on training and fitness and with many of us training or competing as part of a team we face falling behind. It can also be demoralising and lonely training by yourself, we also run the risk of training improperly, resulting in possible injury
Sports facilities should be allowed to stay accessible to all areas provided they adhere to all government guidelines, and also display a track and trace QR code.
