Rejected petition Allow parents to enter an open air venue whilst their child is participating in organised sport.

The FAW protocols forbid parents from staying at a venue / facility whilst their children participate in organised football training or games.
The majority of these venues are open air, outdoor facilities with more than enough space for every parent to maintain a social distance of at least 2 metres from each other.
Parents can go and sit in a bar or restaurant whilst they wait where the risk of spreading COVID19 is much greater.

It’s about something that the Senedd or Welsh Government is not responsible for.

Protocols and guidelines produced by the Football Association of Wales are a matter for that organisation. You could consider raising the issue with them or starting a different petition about something that is the responsibility of the Senedd or Welsh Government.
