Rejected petition Reduce public transport prices for under 16 year old

Currently under 16s on buses have to pay an extortionate £16 just to travel to school every day. Whereas, a 16-21-year-old can pay less than us. We believe that this is unfair and needs to be changed.

We want the Welsh Government to force companies to lower their prices or give children a card similar to the 16-21, so they can take a 1/3 off their journey fare. We do not want this just to happen to public buses, we think this should include private buses that children pay to go to school on every week.

Why was this petition rejected?

It did not collect enough signatures to be referred to the Petitions Committee.
