Rejected petition We support Welsh Government policy on the sale of unessential goods

We the undersigned wish to declare our support for the Welsh Government policy regarding the sale of essential only goods at those stores in Wales that are allowed to stay open during the two week lockdown period.
1 This will dissuade people from spending too much time browsing, mingling with others and therefore
spreading C19
2 Should the policy be removed, it will be unfair to smaller shops.

Why was this petition rejected?

There’s already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue, or if the Petitions Committee has considered one in the last year.
