Rejected petition Petition to institute rule of democracy over Coronavirus restrictions.

Recent restrictions in Wales have led to draconian measures such as the curtailment of freedom of movement, whereby the police may even enter homes without a warrant or prevent travel. We, the Welsh people, petition the Senedd to introduce public consultation measures for each change in the restrictions so that we may have a democratic say in the measures affecting us and our families.

Why was this petition rejected?

There’s already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue, or if the Petitions Committee has considered one in the last year.
