Rejected petition Allow two households to meet in a private garden after the Nov firebreak.

For any social contact the current proposal forces people who are not in a bubble to take a higher risk and meet friends/family indoors in a cafe. The argument that a cafe is a regulated environment where social distancing can be enforced is patently incorrect.

Why was this petition rejected?

There’s already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue, or if the Petitions Committee has considered one in the last year.
