Rejected petition Allow pubs to serve alcohol just as the supermarkets are allowed to continue to do so.

Asking the hospitality trade to close its doors early during the busiest time of the year is one thing but instructing us not to sell alcohol is a travesty. It is no different to allowing car garages to stay open but only allowing a tyre change. There is no scientific evidence to support this, infection rates are low, we do all track and trace & monitored with social distancing in place.

This GUIDELINE needs reconsideration before all staff lose their jobs on the run up to Christmas.

Why was this petition rejected?
