Rejected petition Abolish the new lockdown rules for 6pm pub closures and the ban on serving alcohol in establishments
The new lockdown measures announced today will serve only to put the nail in the coffin for Wales' hospitality industry that is on its knees.
Mass closures have already been occurring. The abolishment of alcohol servings and the 6pm closing times will not only reduce demand massively for this struggling sector, but also greatly affect mental health. The pub for many is a place to get away from the stresses we all have had to face, to engage with our loved ones. Please, reverse these measures.
