Rejected petition Remove the ban on the sale of alcohol in hospitality venues
The coronavirus pandemic is one that has left the year of 2020 in total disarray.
People have lost loved ones, businesses, and mental health has deteriorated dramatically.
By introducing the ban of alcohol in hospitality venues, many people will turn to drinking at home, this is either alone (has negative impact on mental health) or in house parties.
Don’t take Christmas away for customers and staff.
More details
Restrictions are in place at all hospitality venues across the country, these are again monitored by licensing authorities across the country.
The sector has demonstrated since August that it can safely welcome customers and staff through many different precautions and measures.
Is it really safer to allow people to drink at home with no restrictions, no staff to monitor them?
