Rejected petition Allow children’s indoor entertainment venues to remain open through the winter

Throughout the 1st lockdown, parents of young children were left with nowhere to take them and even playgrounds were closed across Wales. Through the “firebreak” period, we were again left with nowhere to take children over half term but this time it rained for the whole week. Now we are facing a winter with potentially no museums, soft play, bowling alleys or cinemas. Nature and outdoor play are wonderful but single parents and those with multiple children and young babies need alternatives.

Why was this petition rejected?

This petition was withdrawn by the petitioner.

In light of changes in circumstances and Welsh Government regulations since the petition was created, the petitioner decided to withdraw the petition.
