Rejected petition Allow supermarkets to sell "non-essential" items during tier 4 lockdown
Supermarkets and other essential retailers are being banned from selling nonessential items in this Tier 4 lockdown. It’s almost Christmas and this lockdown was sprung on people with very little notice. Payday is 23 or 24/12 for many people so they now cannot buy presents.
