Rejected petition Introduce the Green Homes Grant voucher towards cost of energy efficient improvements to your home

Many people are keen to install renewable energy heating sources and insulation in their property. Grants in Wales are only open to those on low income or receiving benefits. This prevents working families from being able to afford to make the change. Many working families are excluded by the criteria. The scheme in England encourages home owners with a voucher for 2/3 of the cost, up to £5000 to all with additional help to those on benefits or low income. Wales should mirror this scheme.
