Rejected petition Prioritise volunteer lifeboat crews, and other emergency services, for a COVID 19 vaccine

Our nation's volunteer lifeboat crews regularly risk their lives going to sea to help those in need. It is important that we have early access to the vaccine as it is almost impossible for us to adequately socially isolate whilst on a live service request, or whilst training.

Because most of our crews are fit and relatively young, we will be the last in line for a vaccine. Despite this we continue to operate a 24/7 365 rescue service.

This represents an unacceptable risk.

Why was this petition rejected?

This petition was withdrawn by the petitioner.

In light of changes in circumstances and Welsh Government regulations since the petition was created, the petitioner decided to withdraw the petition.
