Rejected petition Prioritize front line retail shop assistants for the Covid 19 vaccine.

Front line shop assistants come into contact with hundreds of customers on a daily basis 24hrs/7days a week. With an increasing number of these workers being affected by Covid 19 it is essential they are vaccinated quickly. As without their support toiling as they have done since the first outbreak in 2020 and providing an online delivery service of food items we as a country would be in dire straights.

Why was this petition rejected?

There’s already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue, or if the Petitions Committee has considered one in the last year.
