Rejected petition Do not delay the Senedd elections in May 2021.
For reasons related to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Welsh Government is pursuing emergency legislation that would allow it to delay the upcoming Senedd elections.
We do not agree with this - the Welsh Government and all Senedd politicians need to be held accountable for their records over the last term and particularly over their handling of Covid-19. We ask the Government to concentrate its efforts on holding a safe election, ensured by postal voting and an accelerated vaccination campaign.
