Rejected petition Award year 10&12 pupils a mark equivalent to a centre assessed grade ranked to their ability.

Recent decisions by the government and qualifications wales have meant that Year 10&12 pupils will not receive any credit for work completed since September if enrolled on a 2yr course. This petition is to urge the regulators to review this decision and allow students that would have sat unitised exams this summer to be awarded a mark equivalent to their centre assessed grade. This applies to all as level units and many subjects at gcse.

More details

The current situation means increased pressure, stress and anxiety for year 10&12 pupils next year. Also at present any remote learning now seems like a waste of time to these children as might any future face to face teaching before the summer break.
