Rejected petition Provide a clear roadmap for lifting lockdown restrictions in Wales, and the thresholds required
Wales has been in a national lockdown since the 20th of December. The Welsh Government has not set out any roadmap to as how and when restrictions can be eased. Back In January the Welsh Government stated that once the case rate reaches 150 per 100,000 and the positivity rate goes below 10% they will start to ease restrictions. According to the latest we are at 111.4 per 100,000 with a rate of 9.3%. But still no signs of easing lockdown.
More details
The economy has been shut for long enough now. There is NO CLARITY as to when and how restrictions will be eased. There have been no targets set and no dates set.
Give us a roadmap which clearly states the thresholds required to ease restrictions. Even if the Government doesn't plan to ease restrictions at least give us clarity to as when they CAN be eased.
Boris Johnson is setting a roadmap for England on the 22nd. Mark Drakeford should do the same!!!!!!
