Rejected petition Help for first time buyers to purchase previously owned homes

The government scrapped Help to Buy on previously used or old homes a few years ago and will now only offer help on new-build properties.

There is not enough new-build properties for everyone and not everyone would afford the repayments on a newly built property. The Government should introduce a new scheme that would allow first time buyers to purchase an older and cost effective property with just a 5% deposit.
