Rejected petition Include self defence in PE classes in schools

Due to the increase in crime and attacks and most recently the story of Sarah Everard, I think that it would be very beneficial for all children to be taught self defence in PE lessons.

Children are taught football, gymnastics, netball etc in PE lessons. Why not add self defence to PE lessons as this would also benefit children once leaving school or even whilst at school when walking on their own.
