Rejected petition Make sea survival a part of curriculum in coastal towns

We live in a coastal area, the sea is a big part of our children's lives, growing up spending days swimming in the sea is as normal as a walk in the park to us. Some dangers are obvious, but we still arnt aware of them all, and lives are being lost. we need to be able to teach kids the importance of safety. In schools we have P.E and teach football, netball, ect we do have swimming lessons, but there is no education for sea safety, maybe a one off tick the box activity, but that's not good enough
