Rejected petition Care companies contracts to be reviewed so vulnerable people not left with no care

Currently care companies who get there care packages have their own policy about how much notice is given to hand back care packages. The company I had for years is 72 hours but that is not easily possible when unless an emergency social services can take up to 48 hours to get back in contact. This has happened to me I was given a weeks notice by the care company but with the current care crisis care companies have no availability for any more care packages.

More details

Going from having 4 calls a day to none, is inhumane my care includes making food, drinks, taking medication, having a shower, getting dressed, more medication and much more
After the current situation going on right now so many are left without any care to live lives at home. Care companies should all have to give 4 weeks notice to hand back packages, so that in instances where there are no care companies able to take on new care services, the current company still having to give 4 weeks of care or untill a new care provider has been found.
Each care package is so different some more complex, and therefore need more time to arrange suitable alternatives of care provision.
