Rejected petition Set the speed limit to 50mph along the A4042, Turnpike Road and Croesyceiliog Bypass.

Reducing speeds, reduces emissions. This improves air quality and noise pollution for residents who live close to the road.
This has been done elsewhere throughout Newport and Pontypool.
It will also help with many accidents that have occurred there.
