Rejected petition Pay teachers to mark exam papers ( GCSE & A level ) for the summer 2022 exam series

Payment for teachers marking exams

More details

If CDGs or the like are deemed necessary for the 2022 exam series teachers should be paid as examiners would normally be paid to mark exams. In 2021 this was an unprecedented time , 2022 needs to learn from past experiences and instead and adding to teachers workload with no time or monetary considerations - we were just expected to adapt. This academic year has to change , where teachers are paid , as examiners would be paid , to mark the exams.
