Rejected petition Keep cervical screening to 3 years and not extended to 5 years for women aged 25-49.

From 1 January 2022, if you are aged 25-49, the gap between routine tests has now changed from 3 to 5 years. Increasing the length between screening could be detrimental to womens health in Wales and lead to more deaths from cervical cancer. Screening is crucial in catching the disease early.
