Rejected petition Change visiting rules for family members in hospitals
The limit on hospital visits in Wales is one person per patient which is totally different to the guidance in England and in the case of a child being in hospital limits both parents and grandparents from seeing that child and how to decide which parent sees a sick child could cause friction between relationships or worse! The limit needs to change from one family member to close family members including both parents and grandparents
More details
My three year old grandson is in hospital and it's ridiculous that his mother has to leave the ward just so my wife or I can visit him! It's unjust, unwarranted and inhumane that this even has to be discussed after most restrictions have been rescinded
