Rejected petition Stop the proposed 20 mph speed limit change due to be implemented across Wales in 2023

Trials have been tried across Wales but have proved to be very problematic. The majority of Welsh people are against this blanket speed limit and the evidence has not been fully gathered and what has been is being ignored.

The Welsh government are turning Wales into a third world country and this is just another backward step. Presently we have the worst NHS, worst education and worst transport system and this will just make travelling a million times worse

Why was this petition rejected?

There’s already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue, or if the Petitions Committee has considered one in the last year.
