Rejected petition Ban polystyrene

Polystyrene is non biodegradable and has harmful chemicals which means it has a negative impact to the environment and to wildlife.
It’s not easily recyclable so does not get collected with everyday recycling.
It is easily flammable and creates toxic fumes which again is harmful for the environment.
Polystyrene is one of the main forms of litter that does not get disposed of properly.

It did not collect enough signatures to be referred to the Petitions Committee.
