Rejected petition Bring in free land transaction tax for 1st time home buyers in Wales to be in line with English law

As first time buyers, we all know how hard it is to save for a deposit with ever increasing house prices. We struggled to save the deposit, have found our first home, only to be hit with a land transaction tax of £4,099.75. In England, this is free for fist time buyers. The Welsh assembly decided to keep it. Let’s make it free for ALL first time buyers to get us on that ladder.
