Rejected petition Make the Land Transaction Tax rates in Wales the same as Stamp Duty rates in England and NI.

Chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng recently announced changes to stamp duty in England and Northern Ireland in a bid to support the growth of the economy. Welsh Government has just announced their changes to Land Transaction Tax which will see the people of Wales paying more. This is unfair.

Why was this petition rejected?

It did not collect enough signatures to be referred to the Petitions Committee.
