Rejected petition Scrap the outdoor seating licence costs for Welsh businesses

Lots of councils are now charging excessively for outdoor seating for cafes, for example Vale of Glamorgan Council have recently doubled their charges and can be as much as £1500. In England businesses only have to pay a £100 capped fee until September 2023, when this will be reviewed. Lots of businesses are struggling with running costs and more people are wanting to sit outside due to covid risks. Therefore the public and the businesses should not be punished. These charges should be scrapped or capped in a similar way to England.
