Rejected petition Develop a 50m swimming pool in North Wales.
North Wales needs an Olympic size swimming pool - 50m long because young swimmers in North Wales do not get fair play in the sport.
Top swimmers from North Wales travel to England (Liverpool or Stockport) or South Wales (Swansea or Cardiff) to train or attend Welsh competition.
Because of this, number of competitors from the North Wales who want to follow the sport of swimming have dropped over the years and one reason is the lack of proper resources to train in the North.
