The Brecon Beacons is home to a wealth of archaeology from prehistoric stone circles and burial chambers, Iron Age hillforts, Roman camps, Medieval castles and the remains of our industrial past.
Brecknock Beacons first occurs in the eighteenth century. Brecon Beacons is first attested in the nineteenth century.
The name is renowned throughout the world and will cost businesses dearly because of the undemocratic decisions makers in Cardiff Bay.
