Rejected petition Stop the roll out of sex education in the new school curriculum in primary schools for ages 3-11.

From Sept 2023 children in wales from the age 3-16 will be taught sex education. And parents aren’t allowed to opt out.

The Welsh Government said: “The Code is designed to promote equality and inclusivity, including LGBTQ+ inclusivity, so that all learners can value difference and diversity as a source of strength.”

The Code was debated for 30 minutes in the Senedd before members voted to make it mandatory teaching for children aged 3 to 16.
