Rejected petition Cancel plans for Road User Payments, Congestion Zones, Clean Air Zones and Workplace Parking Levies.

At a time when people are struggling with the cost of living it is simply not feasible for people to incur more cost simply for needing to traverse the city.
The proposed schemes, despite claims that people in poorer areas are less likely to own a car, will disproportionately affect those already struggling.
While we understand that the proposed schemes are currently in a consulting phase, the people of Cardiff would like it known that we categorically DO NOT support their implementation.

How did they arrive at the statistic that air pollution caused by cars is shortening life expectancy by 7-8 months?
This is nothing short of another money making scheme.
