Rejected petition Keep the 202 Neath/Port Talbot bus service
Many elderly, disabled and those with young children depend on the 202 bus service.
Losing it completely, (the current plan) will lead to vulnerable people in SA11/ Old Road areas not being able to get to hospital or medical appointments or to the shops. It will also increase social isolation for those unable to afford taxi cabs to replace the service they rely on.
More details
The 202 bus service runs between Neath and Port Talbot, serving communities with a high proportion of members with mobility problems or those who have very young families. Many of these households do not own a car or other means of transport.
