Rejected petition Abolish the 10% residential mobile home sale fee paid to site owners

Living on a residential mobile home park is a wonderful way of life for us retirees, however we find that the fee of 10% of sale price having to be paid to the site owner is unfair as we already pay a monthly site fee. To have to disburse a further amount upon sale very much reduces the future options we might have as in most cases it means downsizing, moving to a cheaper area or purchasing an older home which would potentially require a lot of work, thus money spent to get it to standard.
