Rejected petition Reconsider the 20 mile speed limit in built up areas

20 mile speed restrictions in all built up areas will increase congestion on our roads. This in turn will have a decremental impact on local independent business's and businesses in general. Our emergency services will also be under more pressure due to a increase in congestion.

More details

We the undersigned appeal against the 20 mile speed restrictions in built up areas. We believe that this will cause far more congestion a and therefore increase the pollution .It will affect local independent businesses- especially our fast food services which offer a delivery service. It will also affect the delivery of our mail services and our children,s education and our nhs . Many people will struggle to arrive at work on time because of having to juggle bringing up a family and having to leave for work earlier so to arrive on time.
