Rejected petition Call an earlier assembly election ( by end of 2023) Give Wales a real Voice

The current administration was voted in on a low turnout during Covid in 2021, since then a number of policies have been introduced that are out of touch with the general electorate including a 20mph blanket speed limit, 50 percent expansion of Senedd members during a cost of living crisis and tourist tax
As engagement is currently high now would be be a the time to see if the current membership really has the backing of the electorate

Why was this petition rejected?

There’s already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue, or if the Petitions Committee has considered one in the last year.
