Rejected petition We want a new Welsh referendum on whether the Welsh Assembly should continue or be abolished.

The population have not given consent to have the voting system changed and this should be put to the people in a national referendum so the population can have its say on such a big change to our democratic system,

More details

In light of the proposed expansion of the number of seats, with an estimated cost of around £17million+, and the proposed changes to the voting system, the Welsh assembly have become more disconnected from the needs and wishes of the population of Wales and are no longer governing for the people of Wales.
This latest debacle with the 20MPH speed limit, costing around £30million, and the proposal to expand the Sennedd at an annual cost of £17million, when the country can not afford to fix potholes or fund the NHS, is an example of why they are out of touch and no longer fit for purpose.
