Rejected petition Vote of no confidence in Mark Drakeford and his cabinet over the new 20mph law, and new elections!
In a move which can only be described as ludicrous, Mark Drakeford and his cabinet have pushed through and ratified legislation which is going to strangle an already suffocating economy.
The new blanket 20mph law is nothing short of disastrous. Our so called 'representatives', FAILED completely to represent us, so I am calling for a vote of no confidence in Mark Drakeford and his government, and immediate elections to the Senydd be held.

The petition 'We want the Welsh Government to rescind and remove the disastrous 20mph law', ( link below) at the time of writing this, has gathered well over 190,000 signatures, and the rate of signings is increasing. This is powerful evidence that the strength of feeling amongst the Welsh population on this issue is becoming overwhelming, so in consequence, I believe, confidence in the Welsh Government, and in particular Mark Drakeford, has hit an all time low.
This is an intolerable situation, and in the absence of any resignations from the Senydd over this issue, I feel the only option left is a vote of no confidence in the government, and the First Minister.
Immediate elections then need to be called, so the representatives who ratified this legislation can explain to their constituents why it is they voted the way they did, and brought in a law which IS strangling our already suffocating economy.
