Rejected petition We would like Welsh Labour to step down immediately. Wales has no confidence in Welsh Labour.
Welsh Labour have repeatedly let down the people of Wales. With policies and legislation being introduced that nobody wants and moreover, refusing to listen to the hundreds of thousands of Welsh voices, for example, thus far refusing to acknowledge over 200 thousand signatures petitioning against the introduction of 20mph, we, the people have had enough. It is time the government stepped down with immediate effect and give Wales back to the people.
More details
In excess 200 thousand people have signed a petition against the 20mph speed limit. When asked by Welsh conservatives if he will rescind his decision and revert back to the 30mph, Mark Drakeford said on ITV News at 6pm on Tuesday 19th September 2023, that he would not rescind on his decision. Mark Drakeford and his party have therefore refused to take on board what the people of Wales want. Considering we, the people, elect government to act in our behalf, it is very clear, Welsh Labour are no longer the people's party.
