Rejected petition Launch a national campaign to tackle Wales' litter problem
Littering and fly tipping is getting out of control and the costs to the environment/dealing with it is a constant battle. We need a national appeal to target litter louts, put pride back in our beautiful country and help save the planet. Major fast food outlets should be asked to help fund the campaign and contribute towards litter picking costs. 95% of litter is recyclable. Picking it up would not only help the environment but would also help councils achieve their recycling targets.
