Rejected petition Vote of no confidence in Mark Drakeford and his removal from office

As first minister, Mark Drakeford should have the welsh economy at the forefront of his policy making. To go ahead with a 20mph blanket speed limit when his own survey is saying it’s going to cost the economy £4.5 billion is just economic suicide. The cost also does not seem to factor in haulage and the emissions do not seem to have been considered for HGVs either.

More details

I find it hard to believe the emissions in a car will be better at 20mph than 30mph. What evidence do you have of this? I can guarantee in a HGV it’s going to be considerably higher, with much more fuel usage. A HGV will be in 4th at 20mph rather than 10th at 30mph. So this has not been properly researched at all.
