Rejected petition Cancel plans to expand the number of members of the Senedd

Labour wants to extend the present 60 MS to 96 members.
This is a waste of public money where it can be better used improving public services.
In view of the current cost of living crisis expanding the Senedd will result in more public money being wasted given the cost of employing 36 members and their support staff. This is not the way to create jobs!

Why was this petition rejected?

There’s already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue, or if the Petitions Committee has considered one in the last year.
