By just including basic BSL it would expand the number of people who can communicate together and open more doors for those marginalized. This is not just for GCSE as it will help all students especially younger ones
More details
According to sign solutions.uk over 150,000 people in the UK use BSL as their Primary or preferred language. Currently, the UK Government is working on making BSL an available GCSE but it is easier to learn a language at a younger age and will make society as a whole more accessible.
